Richard Reed - Innocent

studentRichard is the co-founder of innocent drinks, the number one smoothie brand in the UK. The business was started in May 1999 by Richard and two friends and turned over £100m in 2007, selling over two million smoothies a week in the UK and Europe.

Innocent Drinks is not Richard’s first enterprise. In fact, Richard’s entrepreneurial career started earlier than most, when he began washing windows for his neighbours at the age of eight. Following a brief spell of selling Smurf stickers at junior school (until his teachers caught him), Richard retired from the coalface of self-employment aged 12. However, a summer job picking up dog biscuits in a pet food factory soon reminded Richard of the joys of working for himself and led him to set up a summer gardening business called Two Men Went to Mow, employing his school friends.

Sabirul Islam – teenpreneur

studentBelieves profoundly in the power of positive role models. He himself was inspired by a teacher and his cousin early on in his business career and founded a web design business at just 14 along with schoolfriends. He has written a book “The World at Your Feet” which aims to inspire and encourage young people to make the most of their entrepreneurial talent.

Imran Hakim – iTeddy

studentWinner from the BBC2 show, Dragon’s Den who will talk about his business journey and tell the story of iTeddy, a story that is sure to inspire many of the audience.


Deirdre Bounds – i-2-i.com

studentThe former stand up comedienne, world backpacker and teacher who set up the ethical travel company, i-2-i.com, which became the world’s largest gap year company.


David Thomas

studentA Guiness memory record breaker, number 1 bestselling author and international media personality, who has developed one of the most powerful memories in history.


Matt Bowman – Pigeon Detectives

studentThe lead singer of the Pigeon Detectives will talk about how the band started as a group of friends in 2002 and is now one of the UK’s leading groups with 2 hit albums to date.
